Melonie Diaz (born April 25 1984) is an American actress best known for her work in film, having appeared in numerous movies (both independent and major).
While Melonie’s first role was in 2001’s Double Whammy, it was with her role as Melonie in Raising Victor Vargas that she gained recognition from critics and viewers alike. In 2008, Melonie became one of the few actors to have four films selected to appear during a single Sundance. In her case, American Son, Hamlet 2, Be Kind Rewind and Assassination of a High School President were all selected to play at the festival.
In 2013, Melonie starred in Fruitvale Station, based upon a true story.
